The GrosJoueurs Festival is inclusive and open to everyone. We offer activities for all ages, some 18+ events, some with free admission, and others with specific scheduled times. Your level of familiarity with video games will never be a barrier—quite the opposite! Our mission is to introduce gaming to those who know it well, as well as to fans of music, visual arts, culture, and parties. Take a look at the program; you’re sure to find something you’ll love, so don’t be afraid to dive in!
Details are listed on each event page, so be sure to check them out to plan your festival experience!
Almost everything is completely free! Out of more than 25 activities, only 3 (2 concerts and a party) have an entry fee. When you check the page for an event you're interested in, it will be clearly indicated if there is a cost, along with a link to the ticket office when applicable.
No! Well, sort of! All GrosJoueurs festival programming takes place in indoor venues along the Plaza, spanning 3 city blocks. We invite you to check the map to get a better idea of the places to visit.
That said, you might run into some surprises outside on Saturday and Sunday…
It’s true that it’s a bit confusing! If you only need to remember one address, it’s the Ausgang Plaza (6524 St-Hubert St), where there will be an information booth with staff who will be happy to help you with your festival experience on November 14 and 15.
Yes! Well, almost! All venues are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the Théâtre Plaza, where the OPJV concert is taking place on the evening of the 14th. If you wish to attend this event and require special assistance, please let us know in advance at info@grosjoueurs.com and we will be happy to make arrangements to facilitate your access.
By becoming a volunteer! 🙂 Reception, technical and logistics, hosting, administration… We have no shortage of needs! Want to join our team? Contact benevole@grosjoueurs.com and we will get back to you quickly!
As a young, up-and-coming festival, we love wealthy people who want to support local culture! Write to us at info@grosjoueurs.com and we will get back to you very quickly.
We would be happy to answer you! You can email us at info@grosjoueurs.com, or follow us on Instagram (@grosjoueurs) for live updates. That said, during the festival itself, we encourage you to head to the information booth at Ausgang Plaza (6524 Rue St-Hubert) for more information.
Enjoy the festival!
GrosJoueurs is a creative organization that seeks to democratize video games and present them as a full-fledged artistic and cultural object. In a context where there are too few public events to celebrate Quebec video games, we decided we had to do something!
The festival exists to position video games as an essential cultural object within the Quebec cultural ecosystem, inseparable from our identity. Through our festival, we want to bridge the gap between video games and other Quebec artistic scenes: music, visual arts, cinema... Because they have more in common than you might think. Because we want to explore these synergies that seem so natural to us. And also because we sincerely believe that Quebec video games are truly cool.

To contribute to our local gaming culture! To meet other enthusiasts and build connections within a vibrant community. To help launch a new cultural enterprise that is unique to the Quebec landscape. Oh, and yes! Also to get surprise gifts and exclusive access to the festival.

Volunteers, sponsors, partners, and staff members must also adhere to these standards. This includes a prohibition on using language, imagery, clothing, or behavior of a sexual nature in presentations or at booths.
If you are a victim of or witness to harassment, or if you have any concerns, please notify a member of the on-site team immediately or contact us via email at info@grosjoueurs.com.
Our team will support you, including by contacting venue security or authorities, arranging for an escort, or providing any other necessary assistance.
